Entrants should be 16 by the date when the competition takes place. We will also consider entries from girls who are sixteen by the end of the month of the event. The latter entries will be considered on merit and after consultation with parents or carers.

My entry form is submitted - what

now?

Your picture will appear on our entrants' gallery. You may also be invited to take part in some of our charity fundraising events or modelling activities. Taking part in events will increase your chances of being chosen to compete in the grand final.

When is the grand final?

The 2019 grand final will take place on Wednesday 10 April in local nightclub Grand Central. Miss West Lothian is a charity event and all proceeds raised on the final night will go to our chosen charity for the year.

How many friends can I bring?

You are encouraged to bring as many of your friends and family as possible, in order to generate an income for the charity on the night and create a positive atmosphere. There is normally a door entry fee of about £5, all of which goes to charity.

What happens at the grand final?

A panel of judges will assess the girls on the basis of posture and poise, looks and presentation. Ten girls will be chosen to go through to the top 10, when personality will be more fully taken into consideration. There is also a full programme of entertainment on the night, culminating in the exciting announcement of the newly chosen Miss West Lothian.

How old do I have to be?

Entrants should be 16 by the date when the competition takes place. We will also consider entries from girls who are sixteen by the end of the month of the event. The latter entries will be considered on merit and after consultation with parents or carers.
